Reminds me of the Androcles & Lion tale where a man pulls a thorn from a lion's foot and the lion returns the favour when Androcles is facing this same lion in the arena and the lion assists Androcles to escape. The Aesop Lion & Mouse tale is similar. A mouse's life is spared by a lion and years later this same mouse saves the lion from trappers by gnawing through the ropes of the net in which the lion is trapped. The moral is the same for both tales- no act of kindness no matter how small ever goes unrewarded. The latetr tales was told by Andy Griffith the other night of Carol Burnett Show on ME-TV. Her show is on M-F at 11 PM ET and on Sundays at half past ten PM ET.

I chose the kitty. There's a beautiful tail about shredded papers, nose prints on the window and, pencils and keys pushed under the couch. So heart warming.
