| As most living in NZ will know, it is this night 23 years ago that 2 young New Zealanders, Olivia Hope and Ben Smart went out to a New Year's Eve Party at Furneaux Lodge that they never came back from. A short time later, Scott Watson was arrested for their murders despite the fact that no bodies have ever been found therefore no evidence that there was actually a murder at all. I have looked into a bit over the years and I have to lean towards him being innocent myself. He was confirmed as being on the neighbouring boat at the same time as there were confirmed sightings of the mystery man in the bar so therefore they can't be the same person |
