| My friend and I were walking down a quiet street with businesses and we spotted a napsack and I opened it because I thought if somebody forgot it I could check inside and return it to the police station and hand it in. By the way, we were 2 minutes from the station.Low and behold, there was a wallet with $200.00 dollars in it and important documents. I told my friend that we will immediately go to police station and drop it off. One minute later this young man comes up to us and says, Hey what are you doing that s my bag? I later told him to be careful where you leave your things and I told him if he wasn t coming soon that we were dropping it off at the police station.Then I just gave it to him and me and my friend leave and he s frantically checking to see if we took anything. Of course we didn t and you don t hear him say anything to us like maybe a thank you, so I automatically said -you re welcome. What if somebody came and took his money before me? Im always trying to help people, but I guess sometimes it could bite me in my .. Should I stop being so nice? |
