| Why is Australia being singled out by everyone | ||

| Today I read a US person on TV say the US needs to invade Australia to free us. WHAT THE HECK??? So many so called know it alls putting Australia in the bracket of Nazi Germany etc. Firstly, I live in Queensland and we have been relatively free to do what we wish. Shop, Travel but within our own state if we did not want to quarantine, go to the beach, visit, etc. and even movies have been made here with many overseas stars who have flown in. Other states also have these freedoms but where Covid has broken out yes people have been put into so called lockdowns however, they are allowed to exercise outdoors daily, they are allowed to go to the shops, they are allowed to work in certain industries outside the home or they can work from home. Yes there have been restrictions but then our infections have been low 143000 and the death rate here is 1530 for the whole of the outbreak period now going onto 2 years less than a days worth in most countries. As for mental health. Probably this has increased but not much higher than it normally would have been and I think all the negative people putting their 5 pence worth in has not helped. Our Governments were paying people to stay home in many cases much more than they would have earnt a week working. Two of the states that have a high number (for Australia) of Covid positive people and a number of deaths each day have begun opening up and will be allowing overseas travellers etc. I think this will bring about a huge number of cases but I guess the whingers will be much happier with that - or will they. Perhaps we will hear from them about how we should never have opened up. Why is Australia becoming the country people want to put down? | ||
