Australian pensioners; please read this and comment

About 3 weeks ago it was announced through the TV news that this month the Australian pensioners will receive an increase in pension payments of $14-80 PER fortnight for single people ( more for couples ) PLUS an increase in "Rent Assistance" payments.
THE MOMENT OF TRUTH:-
I am a SINGLE pensioner and just checked my latest pension payment and noticed it has only increased by $ 10-80 .... This is $4 short of the announced increase and much shorter when you take into account there is supposed to also be an increase in Rent Assistance payments.
I am aware that often when we first receive any increases in payment the first increased payment is usually only for a period of one week instead of the full 2 weeks.
Taking this into account based on a increase of $14-80 for a 2 week period, a one week period would be $7-40; meaning the remainder of the $10-80 I received would be a Rent Assistance increase of a measly $3-40 being an increase in rent assistance of $6-80 per fortnight.
I would like to know of any other Australian pensioners who have NOT received the FULL amount of increase that was announced on the TV news.
This is not the first time the government has robbed us because the increase I received earlier this year was $6 per fortnight and the welfare minister claims that single pensioners received an increase of over $8 on that occasion
