The rocky road ones are good. I usually go with fruitless traditional or the chocolate ones. I can't eat the traditional fruit ones

Toasted, with lashings of butter, eaten hot with a bulletproof coffee! Yum.

I like Brioche the best but I'm trying Bakers Delight white chocolate and raspberry because my daughter recommended them.

1 lousy point for the Traditional fruit hot cross bun. It has become ridiculous now with all the varieties available and generally on sale from Boxing Day onwards. Good to see 50% agree with me, the most popular vote. Have a Happy and Holy Easter everyone.

I make my own and have done for more than 50 years. The family prefer them.

Its like playing Where's Wally trying to find a traditional hot cross bun these days. You would think I had broken the law asking a supermarket baker "where's the normal hotcross buns" this week. lol

In our family there is one and only one Hot Cross Bun: The One with lots of Fruit, Peel and Spices, Toatsted or heated with lots of Real Butter.

I didn't even know there was more than 1 flavour. I just eat what ever I can get they all sound tast. I'll prefer to eat a doughnut if it is cheaper. Will we be able to train Neo to make them for us it would be cheaper, or will we have to pay someone to download the hotcross buns brogram onto Neo.

A radio station here in New Zealand did a similar poll a few days ago, and the result was that 70% of responses preferred the traditional Hot Cross Bun rather than any of the new-fangled flavours.

I buy 1 x just cinnomon and 1 that include sultana to basically please the family..

Hot Cross.... gosh, a religious symbol. Cadbury don't do EASTER eggs anymore., so should we have Hot Buns? And imagine the outrage from all sorts of politically correct people thinking those buns were describing something else....!! chortle.

I've never had any.

5 points. Traditional with sultanas only. I have tried the apple ones but just does not compare. Vegemite and cheese - definitely not - hot cross buns have to be sweet!
