My daughter has 2 rescue cats who are real characters & who have brought much joy into our lives.
I like dogs, but I do prefer cats, as I love their independent nature. They can also be very affectionate & love attention.
I didn't grow up with pets and if it were just me, I probably wouldn't have any, but they have brought much joy to the house with their antics.
