As many women know, being in a relationship with a guy who is not fully matured can be a difficult situation. To give a little context, I have been in a relationship for over a year with a guy who s quite young and doesn t fully understand the ways of a relationship and how to make the girl happy. There have been a lot of issues where there is no communication, yelling over little things, shit talking / letting his friends talk bad about me, never taking me out, complains about spending money on me, and just over all invalidates my feelings. There is a lot of disrespect and emotional and mental abuse, but because he s younger, his priorities are elsewhere. He says he ll change and do better and take me out but here we are a year later same cycle, same issues, same red flags. My heart says I deserve more, yet my mind is saying, what if he does change for me? Any woman who s going through this understands the feeling of not being loved the way she wants.
