The magic of Technology...aren't we lucky?
APBJun 25, 24
We used to buy records (that we owned) and cassettes and videotapes we used to buy software that we owned too...the software got way too expensive...and people were making copies of tapes... videos and software so they just very gently removed the equipment AND technology. You used to have a DVD/CD burner/player in your computer, everyone did, where did that go? Cannot afford $2,500 for Photoshop or AutoCAD? Don't worry you can now rent EVERYTHING...it is cheaper in the short term, they can enforce "upgrades" you don't want...and of course...YOU don't own anything. The younger generation probably don't have extensive music libraries...or video...so if they want music or films it is a rental item that they pay for without thinking about it...it's only $10 a month...again and again and again....we need to pay attention...
