No but my Mum and Dad had quite a few but these days the younger generations take umbridge at simple words that had no underlying meaning when used back then but now seem to be offensive such as Champ. Men used to say this to their kids. Let's go champ etc. Not sure how that can be offensive but I think they have put another meaning to it. Ridiculous.

the only 1 of those I've ever heard is nincompoop. If I have favourite words they must always change. like songs that get stuck in my head must be favouite words in a way when I can't stop them. I get rid of them by listening to the song on youtube. But before long I get more. not that long ago it was not a song stuck in my head but a cheech and chong thing. kind of weird. A lot of peoples favourite word must be Siri then. Although not mine. but then will Neo become a favourite word for people? Although I think the AI can be called any name that gets chosen for it so peoples favorite words could be different.   Yep. In the Hitchhiker's Guide, people on another planet wanted to know the answer to the meaning of life. They built a super computer to find the answer the question. After many many generations, the super computer finally calculated the 'answer' as "42", but said it didn't know what the real question it answered was. So another huge computer was built to work out what the question is ... that computer was the Earth, which the Vogon aliens destroyed just as it was about to reveal the question. Maybe it is "nincompoop" being the very first "naughty" word I recall reading in a story book in Primary School. I think it was "The Ship that Flew". I was still learning to speak in English and was very "intrigued" with the way it sounded, I did not even look it up in the dictionary lest the description did not live up to my imagination of the word!
