They keep saying in the paper that people can't buy a home. My daughter has her house up for sale at the moment. It is in a reasonable neighbourhood, close to schools, shops and transport. It is 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and in the range for 1st home buyers. They keep coming up with the most ridiculous reasons to try to knock 100k off the price. I need to repaint, I need to put new carpet in. The best one has been, it is near a freeway. Well if you want to live in this area you are going to be near a freeway.
I have been watching these shows on TV where people buy a home. I think people just want to move in with everything the way they want. I understand, but you do need to keep your expectations real.
