MedsCheck is a government program. For reviewing customer's medication to ensure individuals are informed about their prescription and taking the right combination of medicine. This service is performed by the pharmacies to the public and it's free. But the Canadian health Ministry reimburses pharmacies up to $75 per call. Canadian province Ontario's Ministry of health said, it already paid out $60 million for MedChecks in the 2022 2023 fiscal year but declined to provide a financial breakdown showing how that money was spread between different pharmacies.
