It's been suggested by both major parties in Australia to increase the retirement age.
(The age of 70 has been mentioned.)
I have a relative who retired about two years ago due to hip problems. He was a former truck driver.
Lucky for him...he has enough money in superannuation to rely on.
(Do you think that it should be raised?)
Not everyone has got enough of the super...and if their health isn't what it used to be...it might be a struggle for some.
Some might find it more difficult, esp if they have laborious jobs.
