Just trying to make Some Bread!

Certainly in Australia, our big bakeries seem to be using almost the same slightly raw tasting (but long-lasting) dough and making it into different shapes and then lying about what it is. We have baguettes and french sticks...sourdough bread...the bagels were some of the funniest...there has been no attempt to make it authentic, it's just the same bread in a different shape....most of it is rubbish...how are they allowed to lie to the consumer and sell these products?
