Do you believe in saving a nest egg for your future life to when you retire from work? My answer is by all means, if you can afford it, in today's world. I find it so hard to keep up with everything that you hardly have any money left over to invest. Then, when you do invest, who do you trust? One person says this, another says that, it goes on forever. Seeing a financial advisor, OMG it does your head in. Nothing is so simply any more, too many technicalities to sort out what is best for you. In my era we have superannuation which is compulsory, but with our children growing up there is none. They have to save for their own pension if you want one. It is a nightmare in my opinion, what are your thoughts for retirement?
