If you find something do you hand it in or is it finders keepers? I lost my Fitbit, it wasn't handed in, but Fitbit said they would lock it. A few days later I saw steps, so someone had charged it and was using it. Fitbit sent me a new one as they hadn't locked it after all. I was having a cold drink with my friend yesterday when she asked what had happened to my necklace. My emerald pendant had fallen off somewhere, so far it hasn't been handed in. On my way home from work one night, I found a key wallet in the carpark. I wondered what to do with it because without the keys the car wouldn't start. There was money inside, so knew I had to take it to the police station. I got a call a few days later from the owner thanking me for handing it in, then I received a cheque with a note telling me to buy myself something. It was only a small amount and totally unnecessary, her thanks was reward enough. I did the right thing, so why do I get finders keepers? |
