Technology has hit restaurants...they may try and make you order using your smartphone. Your orders are punched in on a pad on the till...or via an I-pad or similar at your table...all this information is printed out in the kitchen...each person has their own printer, so everything should work. So, how is it almost impossible for four people to order a meal in a restaurant, and then receive their meals at the same time? When they had order pads and pencils...and a head chef organising everyone in the kitchen, this never happened ... so what is going on?
