While we are used to electric scooters blowing up and killing people (no-one seems worried about these)...electric cars bursting into flames....we have just had our first commercial airplane destroyed because of Lithium-ion batteries stored in the overhead luggage racks...WHAT'S NEXT?...they are introducing Smart Luggage...it monitors itself and tells you where it is etc...and every bag has a Lithium-ion battery inside it. All it takes is ONE to explode on an aircraft...they get thrown around by baggage handlers....what do you think?
