I wanted to catch an Uber to a large Restaurant...they quoted $56... I order the Uber to go to a nearby location without a restaurant...3 minutes walk away...$26......in another example...my son caught an Uber in the early evening today and the journey cost $26...when he wanted to come home later...the return journey was $56...HOWEVER the same return journey to a nearby house was $26...
So if you are going out somewhere good it is expensive....and they obviously record where you book your transport from....so they can rip you off on the return trip...food for thought?
