In short, the Second Amendment states that as an American citizen, you have the individual right to arm yourself. The amendment also firmly establishes that the government cannot infringe on that right. Why should our guns be taken when there is so much more going on in the world? I think if our guns were taken, we would have more crimes. We would not be able to protect ourselves in our homes. We would have people coming on in our homes, and we would have no one to stop them.
